A lot of random, nerdy things I know about Taipei come from this map. Made in 1945 by the American military (just before they bombed the city). Taiwan is still ruled by Japan. Xinyi looks like it was maybe an army base, Anhe Road and Xinsheng Roads are rivers, most of the city east of Daan park is fields.
